This file explains how to use a new Coach Pro 4.0 Add-On Word Tool, the Quick Clip Tool. This Add-On Word Tool is an extension to Coach Pro. It provides additional features to Coach Pro.
Installing the Quick Clip Tool
To use the Quick Clip Tool, place it in the Add-On Word Tools folder in your Coach Preferences folder. If you are using System 6, the Coach Preferences folder is in your System Folder. If you are using System 7, the Coach Preferences folder is in the Preferences folder in your System folder. When you restart your computer with Coach Pro active, this tool will be available.
Using the Quick Clip Tool
The Quick Clip Tool provides the QuikCheck Selection option of the Coach Pro menu's Selection Tools submenu. This option lets you perform batch spell checks using the Clipboard Spell Checking And Correction window.
Note: To use this option, in the Coach Pro menu’s Preferences dialog box under Other Options, you must set your Guessing Method to Typographic or Phonetic.
To use the QuikCheck Selection option:
1. Select the text you want to spell check.
2. From the Coach Pro menu, choose Selection Tools: QuikCheck Selection.
The Clipboard Spell Checking And Correction window appears.
Coach Pro also displays this window when you choose the Coach Pro menu's Spell Check Selection command to spell check text in programs that do not have find-and-replace capabilities, or programs that have find-and-replace capabilities but do not have Coach Pro Compatibility Modules.
